A day at Khao Sok – nature, activities and fun! Elephant Hills is Thailand’s first luxury jungle camp
combining
the camp idea of African national parks with Thai
tropical
forest environment in Khao Sok. The forest is filled
with
animals and plants, some of them can only be found in
this
environment. In the morning you will awake to the
different
noises of the jungle.
Various activities are offered at
Elephant
Hills. From a scenic
canoe trip on the Sok River,
a ride on an
elephant back or jungle trekking by foot the
camp is a perfect
base in the jungle of Khao Sok. If you decide to join our all day Takuapa Nature safari
tour you will explore
Mangrove channels by speed boat and canoe, cruise onboard our classical Burmese
Junk and visit one
of the many interesting mangrove beaches.
Undertaking our trip to Cheow Larn Lake
you will explore the
lake by a traditional Longtail boat, relax at
a local raft house, stop at a local market to
sample the local
way of life. In the evening enjoy a delicious
Thai dinner at Elephant Hills, exchange
stories of your daily
activities and chill out at our jungle bar or the
camp fire. |
